Medina (Friar Diogo de) / Medina (Frei Diogo de)

He was a monk of the Order of St. Benedict and a distinguished calligrapher, having written most of volume I of the 'General Registry of the Municipal Chamber of Funchal', which contains documents from the 15th and 16th centuries. We do not know if he was from Madeira, or any other details of his life.
