Marmulano (Sideroxylon Marmulano)

Shrub of the Sapotaceae family, with milky sap, obovate or obovate-oblong leaves, leathery, large, and very small flowers arranged in axillary clusters. It is found in Pôrto do Moniz, Ribeira da Janela, Seixal, Porto Santo, etc. It produces yellowish wood and its leaves make good fodder.
