Abundância (Eupatorium adenophorum)

A perennial species of the Compositae family, subfamily Tubuliflorae, very common in Madeira, where it is perfectly naturalized. It originates from Mexico and was introduced to the island as an ornamental plant shortly before 1840. It has opposite, ovate-triangular or rhomboidal leaves, and white flower heads, but with lilacine styles.
