Manta (Buteo vulgaris)

A bird of the Falconidae family, which is mainly found in the high region of Madeira and builds its nests on rocks, over laurels, etc. It preys on small birds and is now less common than before, as it is heavily hunted by hunters. Its eggs are spotted.
