Lombrigueira (Chenopodium ambrosioides)

Indigenous Chenopodiaceae, also known as formigueira, very common both in Madeira and Porto Santo. It has sinuate-toothed or nearly entire leaves, with a strong and distinctive smell, which are a very effective vermifuge medicine that Madeirans sometimes use as an emmenagogue.
