Amor-de-burro (Bidens pilosa)

An annual tubuliflora plant, native to South America and perfectly naturalized in Madeira. Its upper leaves are usually 3-sect and its fruits have 2-4 rigid and twisted awns. It is widely used in the fields as an emmenagogue, and is also known as setas and malpica.
