Slugs / Lesmas

Gastropod mollusks of the Limacidae family that appear in humid or shady places, in gardens, among the herbs, etc.. The Limax flavus often lives near human habitation, while the L. gagetes mainly appears under stones and the L. cinereus in gardens. The Arion ater, with a black, olive, or bluish-gray color, is found in vineyards and grassy places. The Helix undata, which usually lives under stones and pots, is sometimes known by the name of slug, despite being provided with a shell.
