Laranjal

A populated place in the parish of Santo António do Funchal. Marcos Braga, one of the oldest settlers of Madeira, had sesmaria lands there, which his grandson Domingos Braga converted into an entailed estate, and the current representative of this house is Dr. Remigio Barreto.
