Jambeiro (Eugenia Jambos)

A tree from the Myrtaceae family, cultivated in some gardens and estates in Madeira. It originates from India and produces subglobose and fragrant fruits with a pleasant taste. The infusion of jambeiro leaves has been recommended for diabetes.
