Ivo (Pedro)

This writer from Porto, who left his mark on the literature of our country with a well-known and appreciated book of stories, visited Madeira in 1867 and, seduced by the natural beauties of this island, wrote an inspired poetic composition titled Adeus à Madeira, which was published in Diário da Madeira on June 19, 1924.
