Greater Forkbeard (Phycis blennioides) / Abrotea do Alto (Phycis blennioides)

A fish of the cod family, rarely found in the archipelago's seas. It is caught in deep waters with hook gear, being rightly appreciated for its delicate flavor. The same designation is applied to the extremely rare Phycis Yarrellii.
