Hortas (Rua das)

It is now called (1921) Rua do Alferes Veiga Pestana, as a result of the decision made by the City Council on April 10, 1919, and connects Rua do Carmo with the avenues of Pedro José de Ornelas and Elias Garcia, in the parish of Santa Luzia.

Lieutenant João Paulo da Veiga Pestana died in France, in the combat of April 9, 1918.
