Herva-Ferrea (Brunella vulgaris)

A generally prostrate-ascending labiate, with the verticillasters gathered in a terminal and compact spike, provided with large bracts. It is an astringent plant, and its juice is sometimes used in the treatment of wounds and inflammations.
