Almeirão (Cichorium Endivia)

A frequent liguliflora in the lower region of Madeira. It has almost bare branches and blue flower heads. Almotacés. They were officials elected by the municipal council and had oversight over weights, measures, the sale of goods, city cleanliness, and various police matters.
