Günther (Alberto)

An ichthyologist at the British Museum, who described some new species of Madeiran fishes, including the Melanocetus Jahnsonii, a fish from the great oceanic depths, which was the subject of a communication to the Zoological Society of London, entitled On a new genus of Pediculate Fish from the sea of Madeira.
