Grant (W. R. O.)

An ornithologist from the British Museum who scientifically explored the Selvagens. He published a work titled On the Birds observed in the Salvage Islands near Madeira in the 1896 edition of The Ibis (pp. 41-55), and in the magazines The Field and The Zoologist, an account of his trip to the Selvagens. This last work, in which he collaborated with Cecil Bering, is titled An Expedition to Salvage Islands.
