Gramacho

The origin of this family name among us, which is now believed to be extinct, seems to have been the nobleman Rui Gramacho, who was one of the first settlers and had sesmaria lands in Santa Cruz.

In the parish of Sant'Ana, there is a place called Achada do Gramacho.
