Goldschmidt (Julius)

This German doctor, who lived in Funchal for many years, resided in Paris, where he had a large clinic, when the war broke out in 1914. Engaging in Madeiran matters, he published the pamphlets Die lepra auf Madeira, 1891, Madère Étudiée comme station d'hiver, 1880, and Madère étudiée comme station d'hiver et d'été, 1884. He passed away in the year 1924.
