Furilhão

The Furilhão or Prego do Mar is a 49-meter-high rock that rises very close to the islet Chão.

It is a tradition in Madeira that this rock was bombarded on a certain day by an English frigate, which mistook it for a suspicious ship. The Furilhão is known to English navigators by the name Sail Rock.
