Freire de Carvalho (José Liberato)

This well-known and distinguished writer was a deputy for Madeira in September 1834 for the legislative session from 1834 to 1836.

Together with Lourenço José Moniz, Antonio Aluísio Jérvis de Atouguia, and João de Oliveira, he was one of the first representatives of this archipelago in the courts after the establishment of the constitutional government.
