Alexandre (Príncipe)

Prince Alexandre of the Netherlands arrived in Madeira on the Dutch frigate Príncipe de Orange on November 20, 1847, and passed away at the Tomaz Burnett estate in Santa Luzia on February 20, 1848. His body was then taken aboard the Dutch steamer Phoenix on April 3 of the same year, which transported him to the Netherlands.
