Dias Ferreira (José)

This distinguished politician and jurist arrived in Funchal, where he stayed for a few months, on March 7, 1873, residing at Quinta Bianchi, in the area of Nazaré, in S. Martinho, which is now owned by the heirs of Manuel José de Favila Vieira and at that time belonged to the late merchant Augusto César de Bianchi, later Viscount of Bianchi.

Counselor José Dias Ferreira was born on November 30, 1837, and died in Vidago on September 9, 1907.
