Dias e Sousa (Bartolomeu dos Martires)

He was a deputy for Madeira in the legislative sessions from 1842 to 1845 and in 1846. He was a graduate in canons and participated in the campaigns for freedom. He distinguished himself as a politician and journalist. It was said that he was a man of profound intellectual culture. He was born on July 27, 1806, and died on January 7, 1872.
