Desertas (Pontas das Ilhas)

The major coastal prominences of the Desertas group are the Ponta de Santa Maria on the west coast of Ilhéu Chão, those of Castanheira and Pedregal on the west coast of Deserta Grande, and the Ponta das Agulhas at the southern tip of Bugio. (See these names).
