Cruz (Pico da)

A mountainous elevation near the coast, in the parish of São Martinho, at about 263 meters in altitude, from where there is a stunning view over the coastal area and the amphitheater of Funchal. A recently constructed small road provides easy access to the summit of this peak. Adjacent to its northern slope is the Funchal Shooting Range. It was previously known by the name Pico do Telegrafo.
