Silva (Vasco Crispiniano da)

Short biography of Vasco Crispiniano da Silva, infantry major, civil governor of Funchal district in 1920 and senator for Madeira from 1922.

He is an infantry major and was born in Funchal on 3 May 1880. He was appointed civil governor of this district by decree of 29 April 1920 and was relieved of the post at his own request by decree of 1 October of the same year. He represented this archipelago in parliament as a senator, having been elected on 29 January 1922. He holds numerous Portuguese and foreign decorations.
