Peruvian pepper tree (Schinus molle)

The Peruvian pepper tree, grown in Funchal quintas and gardens, flowering almost all year.
A tree from Peru, with drooping branches and compound leaves bearing a large number of narrow leaflets that smell peppery when crushed between the fingers. Male and female specimens of Schinus molle grow in the quintas and gardens of Funchal, and they flower almost all year round.
