Oliveira (João Nepomuceno de)
Madeiran poet and translator (1783–1846), son of the writer Francisco Manuel de Oliveira.
He was born in Funchal in 1783 and died in 1846. He was the son of the Madeiran writer Francisco Manuel de Oliveira. He published a small book of verse and the Portuguese version of two novels translated from French, according to the Arquivo Histórico da Madeira (‘Historical Archive of Madeira’).
