The escolar de natura (Tetragonurus cuvieri) is a fish of little food value, very rarely observed in the archipelago's waters.
A fish of little or no food value, very rarely observed in the seas of this archipelago. It appears to be a pelagic species; nevertheless, one specimen was taken near the beach of Porto Santo (‘holy harbour’).
