Fisheries Company
Original title: Companhia de Pescarias
Notes two short-lived fishing companies in Funchal: one of 1792 founded by Eduardo Watts, and a fishing society of 1822 that failed two years later.
One existed in Funchal in 1792, founded on the initiative of Eduardo Watts, but we suppose that it was short-lived. On 21 November 1822 a fishing society was founded in this city; it disappeared two years later, having caused losses to its members.
