Lawyer and notary born in Câmara de Lobos who became prominent in Lisbon and edited a legal review on notarial matters; he died in the 1890s.
He was born in the parish (freguesia) of Câmara de Lobos (‘seals’ den’) and graduated in law from the University of Coimbra (Universidade de Coimbra). He won great renown in Lisbon as a lawyer and especially as a notary, and for some years he edited a legal review which dealt very particularly with notarial matters and enjoyed high esteem in its day. He died in Lisbon in the last decade of the 19th century.
