Aranha
The surname Aranha in Madeira, descending from Brás Dias Aranha of Funchal around 1600, which gave its name to a former street.
Among us this surname originates with Brás Dias Aranha, who lived in Funchal around 1600. There is a street in the city that was named after the Aranhas, because a family of that surname lived there; this was perhaps the family of Brás Dias himself or of his descendants.
